Barossa Red Vintage Tours does things differently. Instead of a minibus or a people mover, you'll cruise the Barossa in one of two completely original vintage London cabs — a 1972 Classic Red or a 1988 White Retro — with a knowledgeable guide who tailors every stop to your interests. It's one of the most distinctive ways to experience the valley, and one of the few that genuinely makes the journey as memorable as the destination.

Operating from the Barossa and Gawler, the tours cover everything from iconic cellar doors and boutique wineries to historic galleries, artisan studios and scenic lookouts — because the Barossa is more than wine country, and not every guest wants to taste at every stop. Each vintage cab carries up to 5 or 6 guests privately, so it's you and your group in an intimate setting, not a shared experience with strangers.

The full day private tour runs for 6 hours from $540 for two people and includes pick-up at your Barossa accommodation, an introduction to your vehicle and guide, and tastings tailored to your preferences. Most cellar door tastings in the Barossa are complimentary, though some premium estates charge a small fee (usually redeemable against a purchase). Lunch is available at additional cost with many options across the valley.

For something different on a Friday evening, the 'Meet the Locals' tour is a 3-hour group experience that includes a social mixer and dinner — a genuine way to connect with the Barossa community, not just its wines. Half-day tours are also available for guests short on time.

Every tour is especially made for you.We create it perfectly or you can just leave it all to us.Whether it is fine wine or food,art,history or shopping we have it all ready for you. We can seat 5 comfortably, although there is room for 6 and we have a choice of two vintage cabs. Pickup is from your Barossa accommodation.

Tours can be half or full day and we are very flexible with timings. You can always call us before you book.All ages and abilities are catered for.
